  4.     Were the situation not so serious in the occupied territories,
  5. I would laugh at the comments made by Israeli Minister of Industry
  6. and Trade Ariel Sharon (INTERVIEW, April 17). Sharon refers to
  7. P.L.O. terrorists as having "more Jewish blood on their hands than
  8. anyone since the Nazis." It's sickening to continue bringing up the
  9. Nazis. While I'm not belittling the horror and tragedy caused by
  10. Hitler, it is ironic to hear supporters of Israel use that as an
  11. excuse for Israel's treatment of the Arabs. I have heard personal
  12. accounts of torture, injustice and persecution from relatives and
  13. friends living in the West Bank. I myself was detained and harassed
  14. for more than three hours in the Tel Aviv airport simply because
  15. my husband is Palestinian. The Arabs had nothing to do with the
  16. Holocaust.

  22. patriot instead of having to listen to comments from celebrity
  23. defeatist American Jewish wimps.
